Emily Blincoe's style mainly consists of animal photos, as well as a few sky view arrangements. She typically uses a neutral color scheme in her photos. They are clean and simplistic, and display her personal life and beliefs. I like her photos because they bring a sense of home to the viewer, with the soft colors and cheery models (her dog). She also explains her lifestyle in these photos without using any words. She lives in Nashville on the countryside and so you see farm animals in her photos as well.
These photos are very personal to her.
You can tell she takes the time to find the right lighting and uses objects that a close to her. Her backdrops are usually at her house; like her bathroom or her backyard. But she also has a social philosophy because they are very Instagram projected. I think she plans the look of her photos ahead of time so that she can then use the sunsets to help her editing later. She has influenced me a lot with her photos. I like her signature; golden hour, pastels, and neutrals where you feel calm when looking at the overall scene. I think she uses the mindset “Pinterest, Instagram” photos as a baseline for her work. They all seem aesthetically pleasing and easy on the eye. The look “perfect” and draw attention to her “organized” life.

My Photos
In the end I'm proud of these photos. Mostly because Emily Blincoe was using her dogs as her models and dogs tend to listen to their owners commands. Where my cat Chucho had some moving issues.
I tried to at least incorporate one thing from each of her photos into mine.
Her first image shows her dog laying on her bed with a green blanket, so I photographed my cat sitting in his bed against a green wall. For Blincoe's second photo she took a photo of her two dogs laying on the floor under pretty tree shadows from outside. So I tried my best to get a photo of Chucho laying in the living room under tree shadows. And lastly her amazing photo of her dogs sitting outside a bath tub with towels on their head, I really wanted to take this photo even if it wouldn't end up being as good of quality because I really though the idea was cute and unique.
