This is a photo of my dad. I thought that his shirt was cool pattern, and would draw your eye, so keeping that in mind I chose a more blank (simple) backdrop. The bush he is standing in front of grows these little blueberry looking fruit, but its poisons to humans so we cant eat them. However, they do like blueberries and so does his shirt, so that's what I named the photo.
Blueberry Bush
This is my brother, I thought it would be a challenge to photograph him because I don't necessarily know how to pose people, but I do like how these photos came out. I don't think his body language is too produced and I think the lighting in the black and white photo looks cool.

This is my mom. I tried to have her just talk to my brother and then I'd just photograph what she was doing. And I captured two really cute moments where she was laughing with my brother over how awkward this was. I don't think these photos would be as cute as they are if I had told her what to do, because she would have been more focused on her face, and it would look overly fake.
This is me. I was sitting in my living room and sent a picture to one of my friends when I noticed the lighting was dramatic and moody. So I set my phone up on our coffee table, turned the exposure down and set the timer for 5 seconds. Then I sat up against the couch and posed. I think these look cool where the focal point is on me, and the background is dark and solid.
This is my cat Chucho. The photo to the left was a sweet funny moment where I put him in this outfit that I got for Christmas. I then set the camera up against our glass case and set the timer.
The photo to the right was a moment where I was sitting on the couch watching tv, and I reached over to pet him, the brightness in the room, and the contrast of the white against the orange was really cool and so I decided to capture it.
